Announcing
The Dastrup Family Reunion 2011

We are happy to announce a Albert Lawrance Dastrup Family Reunion, scheduled on June 18, 2011.
Location: Valley Regional Park 5100 South 2700 West, Taylorsville UT 84118

Rough Itenerary:
Check in/mingle 11-12
Family meeting 12-1:00pm
Lunch 1-2pm
Games/Free time 2-4pm
Closing meeting 4-5pm

We have the park reserved until 10pm so everyone is welcome to stay late and mingle. There are several fast food restaraunts near by, or we can do a dinner together. We are open to suggestions, so please make them!

The park has a Pavilion, Large grassy areas, play ground, disc golf course, basketball courts, Sand Volleyball, Horseshoes. There is also a swimming pool next door to the park for all those that want to go swimming.

LUNCH: We are going to do Subway Sandwiches for lunch and will need to collect a small amount of money to cover the cost of food before the reunion. Since this is the first Lawrance Dastrup reunion we would like to know what everyone would prefer: Option 1: We can get subway all the sides, snacks and desert for everyone. Option #2: Keep the fee to a minimum by only ordering the sandwiches, and have everyone do a potluck style for the sides, snacks and deserts.

There is a lot to be done, and we need volunteers to help out, If you are willing to help do any of the following please let us know: 1- Come early and help set up with table clothes and reunion signs. 2-Help setting up food. 3- Organize games/activities 4- Bring a Volleyball net or Horseshoes (everything is set up already, I think we just need to provide our own shoes to play) If we just get sandwiches and do sides, deserts and snacks potluck style we will need help with that.
Please let us know if you are willing to help with any of those items, or anything else you can think of.

We also need to collect as many e-mail addresses as possible. If you know of anyone in the family that does not use a computer, please forward their addresses on to us here, so that we can make sure they get updates physically in the mail. It will be a lot less time consuming and more cost effective to use this blog and e-mail for the majority of updates though.
